Spring Sense | Pink Sugar

Pink Sugar has been around for a while, and I’ve been looking for a more cost effective everyday scent – my current everyday scent is Marc Jacobs Daisy. Daisy of course has floral notes, but I felt like I needed something a little lighter, more spring-y, and more playful for the daily. I was able to find the Pink Sugar kit complete with shower gel and body lotion at Shoppers Drug Mart for $22. Just to compare, the same perfume bottle size at 50ml retails at Sephora for $49 sans the extras. Don’t worry Sephora, this ain’t a knock against you, I still love you and also picked up my go-to Verb shampoo and conditioner. More on this later.

For now, here’s a little more info on Pink Sugar:

Tapping into the smells from your inner childhood, Pink Sugar mixes familiar aromas to create delicious olfactory experiences (cotton candy, anyone?) that aren’t easily forgotten. Just like your earliest memories and the things that remind you of them, Pink Sugar fragrances grab you out of adult life and throw you back to the good old days when life was so darn sweet.
Notes:
Bergamot, Sicilian Orange, Raspberry, Fig Leaves, Lily of the Valley, Licorice, Strawberry, Red Fruit, Cotton Candy, Vanilla, Caramel, Musk, Wood, Powder.
Style:
Playful. Mischievous. Romantic.
